Here is a recording of the Road Apples performing a song by Mitch Jayne of The Dillards band. Mitch told us that this song is about the early settlers of the Ozark Mountains who came there from the Appalachians when they felt that area became too crowded for them. We always called this song, "Fiddle and the Bow" and still do when we perform it, but the actual title is, "The Whole World Round"
The musicians on this recording include:
Bob Breidenbach...dobro, lead vocal
John Jump...guitar, harmony vocals
Phil Wadlow...banjo
Rick Rhamberg...electric bass, harmony vocal

Ed Cabanas always played bass and sang on this song but missed this particular recording session and Rick filled in.
Danny Thompson produced this recording.
