I used to drive back and forth between St Louis and Hot Springs, AR on business quite a lot. I would take US 67 highway the entire way, mainly because it is so scenic. Along the route there is a town named New Hope. (there are actually two towns named New Hopes in AR)
I imagined life in New Hope along the Missouri originated rivers that course through that area creating the massive rice fields AR is known for.
This song is that vision in my mind.
